Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Camden Township man has been arrested for failing to comply with release conditions imposed in connection with previous charges.
Police say the 43-year-old man had been released in October 2024 after being charged with break and enter and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000. His conditions included residing at a designated address during specific hours.
While on patrol in Wallaceburg early Sunday, officers found the man outside of his residence, in violation of the order.
He was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order, and remains in custody at Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters pending a bail hearing.
