Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 51-year-old Tilbury man has been charged following an investigation into a historical intimate partner violence report.
Police said the report was made on October 31 around 6:30 a.m. and involved a 49-year-old Tilbury woman. The investigation determined the woman had been physically assaulted during a previous relationship with the accused.
The man was arrested November 2 at Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters and charged with two counts of assault. He was released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court December 12.
