Residents in Thamesville, Wallaceburg and Wheatley have a chance to transform their yards and gardens for free through the municipality’s Sustainable Neighbourhood Action Plan (SNAP) program.
The initiative offers free trees, rain barrels, composters and other items designed to help residents save water, enrich soil and add colour and shade to their outdoor spaces.
Sign-ups are open until December 21, and project rollout is expected in 2026.
More information and registration details are available, here.
“Let’s grow something great together,” the municipality said in a release.
