Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 45-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing charges after police were called to a Richmond Street residence Wednesday night for a report of threats.
Police say the man confronted a 29-year-old woman at her home around 9:33 p.m. and threatened to harm her and others. He has been charged with two counts of uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
Investigators also determined the accused was bound by a recognizance issued Sept. 5 requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. He is additionally charged with breaching recognizance and remains in custody pending bail.
