Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 27-year-old Chatham man wanted for breaching probation was arrested Friday night on Duke Street.
Police say the man was identified through video surveillance during a well-being check at a Grand Avenue East motel on Sept. 29, where he was allegedly in the company of a woman he was ordered not to contact. A warrant was issued after he left before officers arrived.
He was taken into custody around 9:50 p.m. Friday and transported to police headquarters. He was later released with conditions and a court date of Dec. 30.
