Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police say a 38-year-old man was arrested for impaired driving after a report of a vehicle being driven erratically on Winter Line Road in Dover Township on Feb. 13, 2026.
Police were called at about 3:49 p.m. and were told the vehicle was travelling in and out of lanes, crossing the centre line and nearly striking mailboxes. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop.
The driver was given an approved screening device demand and registered a failure. He was arrested for operation while impaired and operation over 80 milligrams.
Police said the man was taken to headquarters for further testing, where breath tests registered under the legal limit. He was later released unconditionally.
