Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two people are facing assault charges following an early morning disturbance at a business on Grand Avenue West.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to the incident shortly after midnight on Feb. 28, where officers learned security staff were attempting to escort a male patron from the premises when an altercation occurred.
No injuries were reported.
A 21-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both from Chatham, were arrested and each charged with one count of assault. They were released with conditions and are scheduled to appear in court May 25, 2026.
