Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 30-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is facing a mischief charge after police investigated a damaged window at a Wellington Street address in Chatham.
Chatham-Kent police say officers were dispatched to the scene at about 3:02 p.m. on May 19 after receiving a report of a broken window.
Police say the suspect left the area on foot prior to officers arriving.
Witnesses identified the individual and police located the suspect a short distance away.
The woman was arrested and charged with mischief over $5,000.
Police say she was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
