Wallaceburg’s Terry Rabideau wins $360,000 Split the Pot Lottery prize

A Wallaceburg resident is celebrating a major lottery win after claiming the $360,000 grand prize in the April Split the Pot Lottery.

The Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation announced that Terry Rabideau of Wallaceburg won the grand prize. Rabideau is a longtime supporter of the hospital and regularly purchases Split the Pot Lottery tickets, while also contributing to other foundation fundraising initiatives, including the Igniting Healthcare 50/50.

“Stories like Terry’s are a reminder that big wins really do happen close to home,” the foundation said in a social media post announcing the winner.

The foundation is encouraging residents to continue supporting local health care through the lottery. The current Split the Pot Lottery draw includes a $3,000 early bird prize, with ticket sales closing at 11:59 p.m. on the deadline day.

The Split the Pot Lottery supports 87 hospital and health-care foundations across Ontario, helping fund equipment, programs and services in communities throughout the province.
