Sarnia Police Service officials allege: A 51-year-old man is facing charges after being found hiding on a rooftop following a break-in at a Sarnia business.
Sarnia Police officers were deployed to a business on Harbour Road on July 30, 2026, at approximately 1:36 p.m., following a report of unauthorized entry into the building, with individuals still inside.
Officers called out for the individuals to exit the building but received no response. K9 Shadow was deployed and located one male hiding on the roof of the building. A subsequent search of the building did not locate any other individuals.
As a result of the investigation, a 51-year-old man was arrested and charged with break and enter, and fail to comply with probation times four.
He was held for bail and is now before the courts.
