The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is advising residents of Wheatley and the surrounding area that the Romney Leaf and Yard Depot will be open for special hours this weekend to assist with cleanup following the recent storm.
The depot will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday to accept brush and yard debris resulting from the storm.
The Romney Leaf and Yard Depot is located at 22022 Wheatley Road in the community of Romney.
Residents cleaning up their properties are encouraged to make use of the extended weekend hours to dispose of storm-related brush.
The Municipality thanks residents for their patience and cooperation as cleanup efforts continue throughout the affected area.
