Earlier this week, we reported on a story of a pick-up truck being rummaged through in Wallaceburg.
Some loose change was stolen from an unlocked truck parked in the driveway at Dauw and Elgin.

After the story was published, we received several comments and e-mails about similar incidents taking place in Wallaceburg recently.
“Two of my neighbours had their vehicles rummaged (through)one this past weekend and one (the) weekend before as well,” said Jen Dawson, about incidents around the Duncan Street area.
Barb Vandergulik said she thinks someone went through her vehicles sometime on Sunday night or Monday morning in the Nelson Street area.
“My truck was rummaged through at the Wallaceburg Arena (Tuesday) night between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m,” said Travis Loyens.
“Loose change, Tim Hortons card, cell phone chargers and my son’s cell phone, which he worked hard to save for all summer… were all taken.”
Loyens said he thinks we had left his truck unlocked.
