The 2016 Wallaceburg BIA Holiday Open House is this Thursday (Nov. 17), and a must-stop along the route again this year is at Duchene Paint & Accent Alley.
“We are going to have our festive dips and drinks for sampling,” said Melanie Lozon.
“We are doing door prizes. We are doing tax-free for the night as well.”
Melanie said the store will also be featuring a young entrepreneur at the event, Brooke Authier.
“She does all kinds of Christmas crafts,” Melanie said.
“She is going to have some for sale so you can take a peek at what she does.”
There will be items out on display at Duchene’s during the event, and some ‘interactive opportunities’ a well.
“We’ll have the fusion paint out for people to try,” she said.
Downtown James Street will be closed to vehicle traffic on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The open house is slated to take place from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The event will feature in-store promotions, draws, visits from Santa and his elves, horse and carriage rides, Christmas carolers and a chance to win $250 in BIA bucks.
