Police are investigating after a fatal crash on Talbot Trail.
Police officials say on March 26 at 6:44 p.m. emergency crews responded to a serious single motor vehicle collision on Talbot Trail near Stevenson and Coatsworth Road in the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a vehicle was travelling westbound on Talbot Trail, entered the north ditch and rolled multiple times.
The male driver was the lone occupant and was ejected from the vehicle.
The 52 year old Merlin man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision remains under investigation by the Chatham-Kent Police Service Traffic Unit.
Out of respect for the family, the name of the driver will not be released at this time.
The police are offering their deepest condolences to his family.
