The crew at Goldcoast Fashions in downtown Wallaceburg has an array of options available to help you solve your Mother’s Day shopping needs.
Nikki Martin suggests that a great way to put a smile on Mom’s face is to pick-up a gift certificate for them. This Mother’s Day Mom can shop tax free!
“Usually what we do is first of all, decide if you want to do a gift or a gift certificate,” Nikki said.
“There is lots of things that are easy to fit. Scarves, shoes and things like that.”
“If you want to do clothes it is pretty easy because we know how stuff fits. So if you can give me an idea of the style that they like and what they normally wear than I will find something. If it doesn’t work than we will refund or exchange it easy peasy.”
Nikki added: “Gifts certificates are great because everyone loves to shop but they don’t always want to go out and spend money on themselves, especially Moms. So if you get a certificate she will come in, get something that she loves and she will be happy.”
“We are doing a lot of stuff from kind of an Italian style,” she said.
“We have got a lot of pieces from Italy, Europe and some new pieces from California but a lot of stuff is the longer styles. That doesn’t mean we don’t have petites or shorter things. There is a lot of really flowy, lacy feminine things out right now. A lot of bright colours too.”
Nikki said they are carrying a tons of top brands.
“I could go on and on but we are over 50% Canadian made, closer to 60%,” she said.
“With that we have got our Crystal, Mico, Silver jeans. We have Joseph Ribkoff in Wallaceburg as well. We are selling a lot of Minkas which is a new company that we have been carrying.”
Nikki added: “I probably have over 25 brands in the stores right now. A lot of them are very small independent companies like Brenda Beddome pants, and than we carry bigger ones like lisette L the flattery fit that you will see on Oprah and in Oprah magazine all the time so there is a little bit of everything.
