Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith picked up an assist in his Florida Panthers debut on Tuesday night.
Griffith assisted on Denis Malgin’s goal at the 17:42 mark of the second period.

The goal gave the Panthers a 3-2 lead at the time.
They eventually prevailed 4-3 in OT, handing the Montreal Canadiens their first home loss of the season.
Griffith has the one point, had a +1 +/-, recorded two shots, two hits and one blocked shot in 11:52 minutes of ice time on the Panthers third line.
He also saw a brief 11 second stint on the powerplay for Florida.
Aaron Ekblad, the Windsor native and star defenceman for the Panthers who scored the game winning goal in OT, had praise for Griffith following the game.

Griffith and the Panthers will visit his former club, the Toronto Maple Leafs, on Thursday.
