Delays are expected and a Brantford man faces charges after the transport he was driving rolled on the 401.

OPP officials say on November 23, around 10:30 p.m. Chatham-Kent OPP officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Dillion Road.

Investigation indicated that an eastbound tractor trailer, which was travelling in the construction zone, had rolled onto its side and came to rest in the ditch, partially blocking the eastbound passing lane.

The male driver of the transport truck was transported to a local hospital where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries.

As a result of the collision, the 30-year-old male driver of Brampton, Ontario has been charged with Careless driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.

Highway 401 eastbound will be closed for several hours today to allow for the safe removal of the vehicle.
