Update #1: The Chatham-Kent Police Service says there is no threat to public safety after an incident in Wallaceburg this morning.
The intersection of King St & Albert St in Wallaceburg remains closed as we investigate a serious incident that occurred early this am. We believe that this was an isolated incident & that there is no threat to public safety. More info will be released as it becomes available.

Original story: The Chatham-Kent Police are investigating a ‘serious’ incident in Wallaceburg.
“Motorists are asked to please avoid the intersection of King Street and Albert Street,” Chatham-Kent Police Service officials said on social media.
“King Street between Albert Street and Murray Street is closed. Albert Street between King Street and Wallace Street is closed.”
Police officials say more information will be released as it becomes available.
