Police investigating fatal motor vehicle collision
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Shortly after 6 p.m. last night, emergency crews responded to a fatal motor vehicle collision on Riverview Line between Bloomfield Road and Dillon Road.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that a 75-year-old Raleigh Township woman was driving westbound on Riverview Line, when she left the roadway and struck a tree.
The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police offer their deepest condolences to the woman’s family and friends.
The Traffic Unit has taken over the investigation.
