OPP: B&E at St. Clair Township commercial property

Lambton OPP officials allege: On March 31, 2020 at approximately 9 a.m. members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a break and enter that occurred at a commercial property on Polymoore Drive in St. Clair Township.

Initial investigation revealed the suspects had entered two commercial properties on Polymoore Drive.

Lambton OPP attended the properties and observed two parties on video entering the compounds.

Police recognized both parties and had spoken to them earlier that morning.

At approximately 9:15 a.m. Lambton OPP located both suspects during a traffic stop.

They were arrested and transported to the Lambton OPP detachment.

A 22-year-old Walpole Island First Nation man, was charged with the following, pursuant to the Criminal Code:

– Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence (Two Counts)

– Mischief (Two Counts)

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order

A 21-year-old Walpole Island First Nation man, was charged with the following, pursuant to the Criminal Code

– Break, Enter a Place – Commit Indictable Offence (Two Counts)

– Mischief (Two Counts)

– Fail to Comply with Probation Order (Three Counts)

Both accused were released and scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice-Sarnia on June 22, 2020.
