One new positive COVID-19 case brings C-K’s total to 89

The CK Public Health Unit has announced one new positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Chatham-Kent, bringing the total to 89.

There are 54 active cases in Chatham-Kent, no one is hospitalized and one person has died.

Public Health officials say two more people have recovered from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 34.

In total, 1,855 COVID-19 tests have been administered to date, while 50 tests are pending.

A total of 51 of the confirmed cases in Chatham-Kent overall, are the result of an outbreak at Greenhill Produce in Kent Bridge. More details on the outbreak can be found, here.
