While library buildings remain closed to the public, Chatham-Kent Public Library has announces that Curbside Service to library patrons is now expanded to Bothwell, Thamesville and Wheatley branches.
Starting in September, Curbside Service will begin at Thamesville, and then Bothwell and Wheatley respectively.
Curbside Service appointments in Thamesville will be available beginning Wednesday, September 2. Going forward, appointments will be available:
Wednesdays 4:00 to 8:00 pm
Saturdays 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Curbside Service appointment in Wheatley will be available beginning Wednesday, September 9. Going forward, appointments will be available:
Wednesdays 1:00 to 5:00 pm
Saturdays 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Curbside Service appointments in Bothwell will be available beginning Thursday, September 10. Going forward, appointments will be available:
Thursdays 4:00 to 8:00 pm
Saturdays 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Since Curbside Service was launched at Chatham Branch on June 16, patrons have picked up over 36,000 items, library officials say.
Curbside Pickup is available outside the branch by appointment only. If you have holds ready for pickup, visit search.ckpl.ca and search for “Curbside Service” to make an appointment.
Library book drops are now open at all 11 branches for library returns. Please note, CKPL is putting all returned items into quarantine for 72 hours. CKPL is not charging fines while branches are closed.
The health and safety of the library team and the public is important to us, so precautions are in practice to keep everyone safe. If you are unwell, CKPL asks that you cancel your appointment and keep library materials at home for a 2 week period.
