Mrs. Isabelle Ameloot, a resident of Wallaceburg passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance (Chatham) at the age of 81 years.
Daughter of the late Bert and Ruby (Sweetman) Sweet.
Beloved wife of the late Patrick “Pat” Brown and Henri Ameloot.
Dear mother of Patti (Tony) Olivero, Rick (Sheila) Brown and Howard “Chuck” (Tracey) Brown, Rita (Edward) Lepoivre, Roberta (Richard) Authier, Deb (Terry Stenton) Ameloot, Henri Jr. Ameloot, Ron (Julie) Ameloot, Heather (Richard Murray) Guillet, Lori Sheffer.
Special mom to Marty Girard.
Sadly missed by many grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Kind sister of Leona Bjorkman, Jane (Rob) Lyons.
Kind sister-in-law of Barb Sweet, Nelly (Charles) DeCaesteker, Gail Brown and Mary Brown.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews family and friends.
Predeceased by a brother Delbert “Del” Sweet, brothers and sisters-in-law Levi Bjorkman, Bob Brown, Reg Brown and Gerri (George) Whitton.
The late Isabelle Ameloot rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.
Following Isabelle’s wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 from 2-5pm at the Royal Canadian Legion, in Wallaceburg.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, we are asking reservations be made by calling the funeral home (519-627-2861). Masks are mandatory.
As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Diabetes Association or the Chatham Kent Hospice may be left at the funeral home.
