Break and enter in Shrewsbury
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday police responded to an address on Brock Street in Shrewsbury regarding a break and enter.
Through investigation it was determined the residence, a utility trailer and detached garage were all entered sometime the night before by unknown suspects.
A television, some fishing tackle and a heater were among the items stolen.

Storage units broken into in Chatham
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime on December 30, 2020 suspects broke into a compound on Richmond Street and entered two storage units.
At this time two bicycles have been reported stolen.
This investigation is still ongoing as police are reviewing video surveillance.

Female arrested for failing to comply
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday afternoon, police received information that two parties were together on Gregory Drive in Chatham, despite their conditions not to be.
The 32-year-old woman of Regency Drive in Chatham was arrested for failing to comply with her release order.
She was held in police custody pending a bail hearing.
Disturbance in Chatham leads to arrest
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening, at approximately 7:30 p.m. officers responded to an address on Adelaide Street North in Chatham in regards to a disturbance in progress.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged for assault with a weapon, weapons dangerous, point firearm, uttering threats and three counts mischief under $5,000.
The man was taken to hospital for further assessment.
Man arrested on warrant
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday evening shortly after 9 p.m. officers responded to an address on Longwoods Road in regards to a suspicious vehicle.
Through investigation, police located a male hiding inside a residence.
A Chatham man was arrested on the strength of a DNA warrant and failing to comply with his recognizance.
He was later released with a future court date of January 29, 2021
Man found breaching his conditions
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Yesterday morning police responded to a suspicious person inside the vestibule of CIBC Bank on King Street.
Upon police arrival, the man was found urinating inside the vestibule.
Further police checks revealed that he was not to attend CIBC bank and not to possess any incendiary devices.
Police located several lighters on him.
The 46-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with two counts of failing to comply with his release conditions along with committing an indecent act and mischief.
He was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
Disturbance call leads to weapons charge
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Early this morning, police responded to a noise complainant at a residence on McNaughton Avenue.
Through investigation police discovered, one male had pulled a knife out on the other male.
The suspect had fled prior to police arrival.
Police were able to locate the suspect vehicle on the 401.
A Hamilton man was arrested and charged with assault with a weapon and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
He has been released from custody with a future court date.
