Police: B&E in Chatham and on Erie Shore Drive, traffic stop leads to charges

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Sometime between Friday night and Saturday morning, unknown suspects forced their way into an apartment building on Fifth Street in Chatham.

From here, the suspects stole approximately $1,500 worth of tools and electronics.

From here, the suspects stole two televisions and several bottles of alcohol.

Traffic stop leads to bail violations

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Last night, police stopped a vehicle in Blenheim.

Police checks revealed that the female driver was currently bound by court order to be in her residence by 10 p.m.

A 26 year-old Chatham women was arrested and transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters.

She has been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
