Wallaceburg Sports Hall of Fame officials say they typically hold their annual awards banquet this weekend.
“Due to COVID, it’s not possible this year but we want the community to know we are planning for the next banquet and anxiously awaiting for things to improve so local sports can resume,” Sports Hall of Fame officials said on social media.
“We hope everyone is staying safe and keeping healthy. Here’s to a great 2021.”
Last year Kaleb Dahlgren, a survivor in the tragic Humboldt Broncos crash, spoke at the banquet.
