Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On Friday January 29, 2021, at 4:28 p.m., police received a call of a single motor vehicle crash on Cochrane Line in Orford Township.
The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle and was taken to hospital in critical, but stable condition.
The Traffic Unit took over this investigation at the time due to the severity of the injuries.
This morning, the 30 year-old driver succumbed to the injuries he sustained in the motor vehicle collision.
Chatham-Kent Police Service extend their condolences to the family of the deceased.
The police will not be releasing the identity of the driver out of respect for the family.
