Wallaceburg Museum set to re-open on March 30

The Wallaceburg and District Museum is set to re-open their doors at the end of the month.

“We are thrilled to announce the museum will re-open starting Tuesday, March 30, 2021,” Museum officials posted on social media on March 17, 2021.

“Currently, the museum will be open by appointment Only, please call us at 519-627-8962 to schedule a time.”

Museum officials say their new hours are Tuesday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., Wednesday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Thursday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., for a limited time open late Thursdays with 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. free, Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturday 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

“Current members will have special access Tuesday and Saturday 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.” Museum officials say.

“Our volunteers and staff have been busy cleaning the museum top to bottom in addition to updating and adding new features to our exhibits. We can can hardly wait see our members, welcome our guests, and serve the community.”
