Lambton OPP officials allege: On October 31, 2021 at 1:00 a.m., members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Lambton County Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a residence on Grove Street in Petrolia for an assault that had taken place.
Officers arrived on scene and observed an individual with multiple injuries, consistent with an edged weapon assault.
The individual was transported to hospital by Lambton EMS.
Members of the Lambton County OPP Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services are investigating the incident.
No arrests have been made at this time.
