Free swims being offered at the Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool this holiday season

CKRecreation has announced that it will be offering free rec swims at both Blenheim Gable Rees Rotary Pool and Wallaceburg Sydenham Pool this holiday break.

“Thanks to generous donations from Friends of Blenheim and Great Erie Salmon & Walleye Hunt in Blenheim and an anonymous donor in Wallaceburg, the community will have the opportunity to enjoy multiple rec swims for free over the holiday break,” said Kelly Emery, Director of Child Care, Early Years and Recreation, in a media release.

“We are thrilled to be able to respond to the increased demand for recreational opportunities within our community with these free swims. Rec swims are a safe and welcoming space to get active over the holiday break.”

In addition to the free rec swims, CKRecreation has also launched its holiday swim schedule that includes a full slate of aquatic programming.

Whether you are looking for a lane swim, an adult only swim or a parent and tot swim, there is truly something for everyone.

Recreation operations comply with Ontario’s Covid-19 regulations, including the Proof of Vaccination requirement.

All individuals aged 12 and over entering a CKRecreation program/facility must provide proof of full vaccination and ID.

If you are sick or feeling ill, please do not attend.
