Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:21 a.m., the woman attended the Ontario Court of Justice on Grand Avenue West in Chatham.
Officers confirmed the woman was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court.
The 24-year-old Walpole Island woman currently faces the following charges: assaulting a police officer and resist arrest.
She was released with a future court date.
