Wallaceburg’s Alana Paolone places 9th at the World Irish Dance Championships in Scotland

Wallaceburg’s Alana Paolone placed 9th out of 167 competitors at the recent World Irish Dance Championships held in Glasgow, Scotland.

Paolone, 13, recently returned home after competing against dancers from across the globe.

Dana Haggith caught up with Paolone, who has been dancing at Cornell’s School of Irish Dance in Chatham for the last 10 years, for an interview.

The Cornell School of Irish Dance was founded in 1998 by Canadian gold-medalist Irish dancer, Devin Cornell.
