Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 9:14 p.m., police responded to a traffic complaint on Longwood Road in Chatham Township.
Information was received the vehicle was driving erratically and was in a near miss collision.
Officers located the vehicle on the side of the road with its 4-way flashers activated, west of Lindsay Road.
The officer believed the woman driving to be under the influence of alcohol and arrested her.
She was transported to police headquarters for breath tests.
The 53-year-old Windsor woman was charged with impaired driving and having a blood alcohol level exceeding the legal limit.
She was released with conditions and a future court date of July 22,2024.
Her vehicle was impounded for 7 days, and her license was suspended for 90 days.
