Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 5:39 p.m., police responded to a family dispute on Sixteenth Line in Raleigh Township.
Officers learned the man and his mother engaged in a verbal argument that escalated when the man made comments to harm his mother and proceeded to assault her.
The 28-year-old Blenheim man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was released with conditions and a future court date of August 12, 2024. He has been charged with assault and uttering threats.
