Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 11:45 a.m., the Niagara Regional Police Service contacted the Chatham-Kent Police Service advising the man, wanted on a CKPS warrant, was in their custody.
The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to several investigations.
The 50-year-old St. Catherines man was transported back to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing the following charges: sexual assault, flight from police, dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, possession of stolen property, two counts of failing to attend court, and four counts of failing to comply with a release order.
