Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: At 8:55 a.m., police located the man on O’Neil Line in Howard Township.
The man was wanted on an outstanding warrant for failing to attend court in relation to a November 2022 sexual assault investigation.
The 23-year-old Harwich Township man was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where he was held pending a bail hearing.
He is currently facing the following charges: sexual assault and failing to attend court.
As a result of the bail hearing, the man was released by the court with a scheduled court date of August 8, 2024.
