Toronto Police execute CKPS warrant, traffic stop in Wallaceburg leads curfew breach

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Toronto Police Service contacted Chatham-Kent Police Service on Thursday advising that a 31-year-old man from Brampton was being held in their custody.

The man was held for an endorsed warrant for theft and possession under the value of $5,000.

The Toronto Police Service agreed to release the man with a future court date

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Officers conducted a traffic stop around 1:44 a.m. on Friday for a Highway Traffic Act (HTA) infraction.

A 26-year-old male was located breaching the curfew condition of his release order.

He was already out on three outstanding matters.

He was held for a bail hearing.
