Eileen Joan Allaer passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the age of 88.
She will now be reunited with her beloved husband Frans ‘Frank’ Allaer (2020) and will be remembered as a loving mother to Mark (Donna and the late Wendy), and the late Paul (2023) and Phillip (2000).
Cherished grandmother of Marcy, Christie (Andy), Mark Jr.(Amy), Beckie, Sherri, Lindsay (Dean) and the late Maria and Laura (Doug surviving).
Great grandmother of Tyler, Stephanie, Brandon, Alyssa, Danielle, Colton, Brody, Lane, Landon, Abbie, Logan, Lilly, Realla, Alexis, Madison and Faith.
Eileen was the last surviving child of the late John and Jennie (Labadie) Blake and have now joined her siblings Connie, Edward, Gordon, Bernard, Jimmy, Jack, Calvin, Dan, Theresa, Bella, Mary, Dorothy, Kathleen, Georgina, Jeannette, Barbara and Lila. Many will remember Eileen from her years of working at the Glass Factory and being a past member of the CWL in Dresden and Wallaceburg.
Her family would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Fairfield Park Long Term Care for the exception care, support and compassion given over her years of stay.
Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231), on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 from 3-5 and 7-9pm.
Her Mass of the Resurrection will be held at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11am with burial at Riverview Cemetery to follow.
