Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: On June 15, 2025, at approximately 9:34 a.m., the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a disturbance involving a property dispute between a 63-year-old male from Chatham and a 50-year-old female also from Chatham.
Upon arrival, officers located the male with a visible injury above his eye.
He stated that he was assaulted during a confrontation with the female related to a property dispute.
The male also reported that the accused, became hostile and struck him in the face.
Medical assistance was not needed; however, he sought assistance at a nearby residence after the incident occurred.
Officers located the accused at the scene and arrested the individual for assault.
She was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters.
She was released with a scheduled future court date for July 24, 2025.
