Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 59-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing an assault charge after an incident in Wallaceburg Thursday night.
Police say they were called to a domestic disturbance around 10:59 p.m. and learned a verbal argument between a man and a 52-year-old woman had turned physical, resulting in the woman requiring medical attention.
The man was arrested, charged, and later released with conditions and a court date set for Sept. 23.
