A Big Thank You to Vera!
PAWR wants to shine a very special spotlight on 10-year-old Vera, who has started her own fundraising project for the cats in our Cat Lounge at the Glasshouse Nursery — and it’s absolutely purr-fect!
Vera created “Hats 4 Cats”, a cozy little business where she hand-knits beautiful hats and sells them for $25 each — donating every penny to help the cats in our care. So far, she’s sold five hats and is hoping to reach eight sales for a total donation of $200!
This project has been 100% Vera’s idea, effort, and heart — she’s been knitting, promoting, and managing it all on her own.
Thank you, Vera, for showing everyone that no one is ever too young to make a difference! You are truly an inspiration, and we know our cats are sending lots of purrs your way.
