Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Harwich Township woman has been charged in connection with a domestic disturbance in Blenheim earlier this month.
On October 24, 2025, around 8 a.m., Chatham-Kent police responded after receiving multiple calls reporting a domestic dispute at a Blenheim residence.
Police say a verbal argument escalated when a 44-year-old woman allegedly threw several objects toward a 30-year-old man from Blenheim, then physically assaulted him and damaged property inside the home. The man sustained minor injuries but did not require medical attention.
The woman left before officers arrived, and a warrant was later issued for her arrest.
On October 29, 2025, at about 9:49 a.m., the accused turned herself in at Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters. She was arrested and charged with assault, two counts of assault with a weapon, and mischief under $5,000.
She was released with a court date set for November 25, 2025.
