OPP officials allege: One person has died following a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Highway 40 and Courtright Line.
Lambton County OPP said emergency crews, including St. Clair Township Fire Department and Lambton County EMS, responded to the crash around 4:50 p.m.
The collision involved a minivan and a passenger vehicle, each carrying a driver and one passenger.
A 51-year-old individual from London was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Both directions of Highway 40 were closed between Oil Springs Line and Moore Line for several hours to allow for investigation, but the roadway has since reopened.
Lambton OPP, with help from the OPP West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) Team, continues to investigate the cause of the crash.
