In the presence of her children, Anne Van Den Bossche of London (formerly of Wallaceburg) passed away at the age of 89.
Anne was born in Chatham and was the daughter of the late James “Ray” and Adella (nee Walker) Kenny. Loving wife for 60 years of the late Julius Van Den Bossche (2020). Dear mother of Julianne Makin (Dave) and Mark Van Den Bossche (Mary Cole). Grandmother of Jake (Danni), Li, Murphy and Kyle Van Den Bossche, Hope and Joshua Makin and great grandmother of Lincoln. Sister of Steve (Françoise) Kenny. Predeceased by her siblings Sr. Mary Ellen Kenny OSU, John and Marion “Mame” Kenny.
Anne will also be missed by her nieces, nephews and sorely missed by her cousin Nava Walker. Anne graduated from Nursing at St Joseph’s Hospital in 1959. She was a driver for Lambton Elderly Outreach for over 25 years and the Canadian Cancer Society. Proud member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 70 years and active in Lay ministry in every parish in which she worshiped.
The late Anne Van Den Bosshe is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home (639 Elgin St. Wallaceburg). Family and friends are invited for visitation on Monday September 21, 2026 from 5-8pm. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday September 22, 2026 at 11 am from Our Lady Of Help Church. Interment will take place in Riverview Cemetery following the Mass.
