The United Way of Chatham-Kent recently received a donation through the Desjardins Cares and Shares Campaign.
Kim Murray, of Kim Murray Insurance Agency Ltd., along with his wife Barb, presented a cheque for $4,800 to Patty Peters, from the United Way of Chatham-Kent.
“When there’s a cause, the people come together, they focus and take care of each other,” Murray said.
“It’s been a long history of that in Wallaceburg, and all the other communities in Chatham-Kent.”
