The Wallaceburg Minor Baseball Association (WMBA) is set to kick off their Winterball program for all Warrior fastball players.
“This is a great opportunity to get our girls excited, primed and ready to hit the ball diamond for the upcoming 2022 ball season,” WMBA officials say.
“Winterball will start in January and will continue until the end of March and will be held at the Kinsmen Gym in Wallaceburg from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. This program offers 12 weeks of Winterball (excluding March Break), with the first two sessions being held on Tuesdays, whereas the last 10 sessions will be on Thursdays.”
In order to participate in Winterball, all players must be registered with WMBA and at minimum have paid a down payment towards the 2022 season’s registration fee (50% of registration fee), WMBA officials added.
“The Winterball fee is $40 for the 12 sessions,” WMBA officials say.
“This is a great opportunity and value for up to 30 hours of Winterball for only $40, or under $4 a session. If you are interested in participating and getting those high repetitions in, or even seeing some of your old teammates, please send an email to our Registrar, DJ Laprise at Registrar.wmba@gmail.com to confirm your spot. Please include player name and age division you are in.”
WMBA officials added: “Also, please send the $40 Winterball registration fee to our Treasurer, Aimee Legroulx at wmba.eft@gmail.com, also stating player name and age division. WMBA is looking forward to a great upcoming season, and our Winterball program is the first step.”
