Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police responded to a call regarding an intimate partner incident at a residence in Chatham on the evening of Dec. 15.
Police attended the residence at approximately 8:11 p.m. and located a 33-year-old woman from Chatham-Kent outside the home. Officers observed damage inside the residence, and the complainant advised that the damage occurred while he was not present.
Following the investigation, the woman was arrested and charged with mischief under $5,000. She was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she is currently being held for bail.
