OPP officials allege: Two men are facing charges following a police investigation into suspicious activity in the Village of Point Edward.
Members of the Lambton County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to an address on Mara Street on Jan. 14, 2026, at about 3:50 a.m. after a report of suspicious activity.
As a result of the investigation, a 36-year-old man from Barrie and a 42-year-old man from Sarnia were arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime.
Both accused were released from police custody and are scheduled to appear in Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on Feb. 2, 2026.
