Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 38-year-old man has been issued a provincial offences notice after police responded to a report of an intoxicated individual on Grand Avenue West in Chatham on June 13.
Police said officers located a male who was passed out at approximately 6:15 a.m. and determined he was under the influence of alcohol and unable to care for himself.
As a result, the man was issued a Provincial Offences Notice for being intoxicated in a public place. He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held until sober.
