The 13th COVID-19 death have been confirmed in Chatham-Kent.
Chatham-Kent Public Health Unit officials announced the death on the ‘current status’ page of their website on Monday, April 12, 2021.
Jeff Moco, a spokesperson for CK Public Health, told the Sydenham Current the most recent death was a woman in her 80’s, who died on April 9, 2021 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
As previously reported, the 12th death, a man in his 70s, died on April 5, 2021.
The 11th death was a woman in her 50s, who died on April 2, 2021
The 10th COVID-19 death in Chatham-Kent, a woman in her 90s, occurred on March 20 at hospital in Chatham.
The ninth death, a man in his 50s, died from COVID-19 at Erie Shores hospital in Leamington and was announced on Wednesday, February 17, 2021.
The eighth death, a woman in her 90’s, who was a resident at Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg, was confirmed on Thursday, February 11, 2021.
The seventh death, a woman in her 90’s who was also a resident at Fairfield Park, was confirmed on Monday, February 8, 2021.
The sixth death, a man in his 70’s, was confirmed by public health officials on Friday, January 29, 2021.
The fifth death was a woman in her 80s, who died on January 16, 2021.
The fourth death was a 91-year-old Chatham man, who died on Thursday morning, January 14, 2021, at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus.
The third death, a woman in her 80’s, died on Saturday, October 3, 2020 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance.
The second death, a woman in her 50’s, was at the beginning of August.
The first COVID-19 death in Chatham-Kent, a woman in her 80’s, was back in April last year.
